Dear Dawn
Apologies it’s taken me so long to write this review, but I wanted to wait until Bobbie (AKA Wapi SIF) had settled into his new life in the UK so I could honestly reflect on the whole experience. But here’s my testimonial:
From the very first time I contacted Dawn, she was knowledgeable, helpful and completely transparent. At no point did I ever feel under any pressure to buy. Instead, I always felt she genuinely wanted to make sure Bobbie was the right horse for me.
Buying a horse from another country can feel daunting, but Dawn guided me through every step of the process. She arranged the Piroplasmosis (Piro) test, organised the five-stage vetting once the results came back clear, and coordinated all of the transport. Throughout the journey I was kept updated with photos and videos, so I always knew how Bobbie was doing.
After six days travelling from Spain, Bobbie stepped off the lorry calm, curious and ready to explore his new home. That alone spoke volumes about both his temperament and the care taken throughout his journey.
A few months on, he has settled into life in the UK completely. He is the kindest, gentlest horse I’ve ever known and follows me around as though we’ve been together for years. He’s also incredibly handsome – people regularly stop us when we’re out hacking to tell me so, and I’ve even been videoed by complete strangers because they wanted to film him!
What I love most, though, is his character. He’s sensible and brave, calm but with just enough sparkle to make every ride enjoyable. I adore him, and every time I ride him I’m reminded how lucky I am that Dawn found him for me.
Thank you, Dawn, not only for your professionalism and support throughout the process, but for helping my heart heal by introducing me to my beautiful boy. I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect partner, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for their own special horse.
