Espanhol

Price: C/D (€15001-19999)

Espanol * 10/01/2021 is a magnificent, tall, rose grey Lusitano gelding, impressive movement and an exceptionally lovable character. He combines the elegance and charisma of the traditional Portuguese horse with remarkable athletic ability and a wonderful willingness to work.
Born in Portugal, Espanhol comes from pure PSL Lusitano bloodlines. Unfortunately, his sire, the breeding stallion, passed away before receiving official breeding approval, which meant that Espanhol and his siblings could not be registered in the PSL studbook. He therefore holds an international Portuguese equine passport.
His owner is a professional rider and trainer with extensive experience in classical dressage, Doma Vaquera and Working Equitation. He has carefully developed Espanhol’s natural abilities, allowing him to reach an impressive level of training without pressure or excessive demands.
Espanhol is showing expressive and elastic movement, a natural ability for collection, intelligence and, above all, he is very willing to work. His level of training is more of a 6-year old as to his smart capacity to learn as well as his physical condition. The easy way in which he performs demanding dressage movements is impressing. He has: Flying changes, pirouettes, half-pass and passage. His powerful, expressive extended trot is a pleasure to watch, while his ability to collect seems almost instinctive. Throughout his work, Espanhol remains attentive, motivated and visibly happy to cooperate.
