Having trialled several horses, I had come across the Spanish Horse breed, and, after research, found Dawn, of andalusianhorsedirect.com… I cannot recommend Dawn highly enough.
Returning to riding in my fifties, I knew I needed to put safety first, whilst really wishing to find an interesting, beautiful horse – not a kick along type. Dawn understood exactly the balance I sought and answered my endless questions. She is an expert on the Spanish Horse and I soon realised I could trust her implicitly. I now have the most lovely horse: beautiful, calm and intelligent. Dawn guided us through the process of importing a horse from Spain – which seemed a huge thing to me. Dawn’s contacts in Spain proved honest too: I find my horse is exactly as I was told by her previous owner. As a result, my confidence has returned and the horse and I are beginning to form a team and are going from strength to strength. Again, if you are looking for your forever friend, I can highly recommend Dawn.
