Arponero is a classical PRE, well built, tall and round shaped, well moving, ridden mainly in the street and fields. He had been trained in the riding arena to get a solid basic level, and he is now only being used for leisure riding, ferias and Romerias with a high level of fun factor. His genetic background is based on Escalera- and Paco Lazo lines, very interesting: ancestors from Carthusian lines such as Hacendoso VII (Terry) and Gorron II (Terry, Bocado), his father Ermitaño VII (Escalera) is the son of Ganador VIII (see picture) and goes back to Nostalgico (Terry, see picture!) and Cesar (Yeguada Militar, s.Foto).
