Manijero Rosa IV *09/05/2021 is an impressive, baroque built PRE stallion of the traditional old type, a horse who truly represents the classic Pura Raza Española as we have known and loved it for generations: substantial, expressive and full of presence, combined with an exceptionally kind and affectionate nature.
Manijero is easily bonding, affectionate and open-minded. He is curious and calm, patient yet willing and motivated to work. Under saddle, he is pleasantly uncomplicated and easy to ride. In addition, he offers beautiful, expressive and ground-covering movements which perfectly complement his impressive baroque appearance.
He is an exceptionally calm and friendly stallion who enjoys being around people and is a pleasure to handle in everyday life. He is child-friendly and a gentleman when being groomed, led and cared for. He is the kind of stallion one could easily imagine keeping at home in a private family environment as a true friend and companion.
Manijero was bred by La Rosa and, on his sire’s side, descends almost entirely from Granda Losada bloodlines. This historic breeding program represents generations of proven traditional PRE selection, renowned for baroque conformation, breed type and expression. His blopod lines are also influenced by Romero Benítez, one of the legendary names in PRE breeding, as well as Salvatierra and the famous Bocado brand of La Cartuja, bloodlines deeply rooted in the history of the original Spanish horse.
His mother, Manijera Rosa, after whom he was named, holds Calificado breeding status and is furthermore recognized as a Recommended Breeding Mare for Dressage, adding another mark of quality to this young stallion’s pedigree.
