“I have been keeping a horse at an International dressage yard for many years and the time had come to find a new horse, as my old horse was ready to retire. The yard owner recommended Andalusians, as other clients had bought them for their sweet and easy nature, which was exactly what I was looking for. A Google search quickly found Dawn’s business, Andalusian Horse Direct, and Dawn immediately started sending details of various horses. I would never normally contemplate buying a horse without seeing it and riding it, but coronavirus made that impossible, so I needed a lot of confidence building to take the plunge. Dawn was absolutely brilliant at building my confidence, so many videos and so much information about each horse. She soon found Nacional, a 6 year old bay stallion, already at PSG level, who seemed perfect. Dawn arranged for one of her team to test ride him; she found a superb English speaking vet and all went well, my trainer approved, so I went ahead. Dawn then arranged everything to get him delivered here for 2 weeks quarantine before he goes on to the dressage yard. Nacional has turned out just as well as I hoped, wonderful temperament, so easy to look after and hopefully huge potential. I can’t thank Dawn enough for all her help and patience along the way.”
